The premise is simple- because so much of what we do with our websites or in new media  crosses over, it only made sense that we would pull together our resources so that we can all learn from each other and reap the benefits of the larger community. This year we’ll be folding in WordPress, DrupalCamp, Joomla, .NET and Multi-Meida tracks under the “OpenCamp” umbrella. There will also be more general sessions for things like social media which cross over for all of us.

We’re also dedicated to keeping the focus on our community. While we love our brethren around the world, we want to make sure we provide the best in education, experts and networking for everyone in and around the DFW Metroplex. Needless to say we’ll having plenty of evening activities and other things going on so you’ll have a full and fun weekend. Even if you live in Dallas, you might want to think about staying at the hotel so you don’t miss out on anything, including some stellar giveaways and night time activities.
